She’ll plead with you to escape the tower, and mention a way through Emily’s safe chamber - the key for which lies in Mortimer Ramsey’s hands. Inside, speak to Captain Alexi who has your sword lying nearby. To escape, look to the windows and open one to climb out onto the narrow balcony, and move to the next open window leading to a room full of slain guards - and one that yet breathes. There’s not much else you can do in the room, save for eating some food in the corner, or checking notes on the main table and side table. You can check the locked door to peek through the keyhole for some guard banter - and note the two stationed outside. ![]() Once you finally gain control of your character, you’ll be in the Royal Quarters, weaponless, powerless, and in need of an escape plan. Whoever you don’t pick will be out of the running for the rest of the game - so to speak. Following the opening cutscene, you’ll be able to choose which character to play as - which will change a few important details like story beats and more importantly the Powers and Enhancements you’ll soon have access to. ![]()
